credits | This song is dedicated to the memory of my beloved daughter Melissa S. Gosule who, at the age of 27 was murdered on July 11, 1999. Both the words and the spirit of the song reach out to all who have lost a child, sibling or loving friend in the prime of their life.
Melissa believed in helping people less fortunate than she. Spreading kindness was more important than accumulating money and she would teach us to live life to the fullest (pura vida).
Our limits as individuals are the walls of fear that surround us. Melissa was committed to making the world a better place. The kindness and love she showed would be the envy of any parent.
it is my hope that this song will help bridge the loss we share and allow us to find hope to care. It is my wish that this song brings a measure of peace and comfort to each of us who continue to suffer the pain of loss
